Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 June 2026

This policy explains how Charlton Media Group (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal data you provide when registering for and using the CMG Awards platform (the “Platform”).

Information we collect

  • Account details — name, job title, company, email address, contact number and country, provided at registration.
  • Nomination content — the entries, answers, contact details and any files you submit.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type and usage information, collected automatically to keep the Platform secure.

How we use your data

  • To create and manage your account and process your award entries.
  • To communicate with you about your entries, deadlines and results.
  • To administer judging and announce winners.
  • To protect the Platform against fraud and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.

Legal basis

We process your data to perform the entry process you request (contract), for our legitimate interest in running the awards securely, and with your consent where required. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Sharing

Your nomination content is shared with the independent judging panel for evaluation. We use trusted processors to operate the Platform (hosting, database and email delivery), who act only on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

We keep account and entry data for as long as needed to run the relevant awards cycle and meet legal and record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including the Singapore PDPA and, where relevant, the EU/UK GDPR), you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, or object to certain processing. You can edit your profile or delete your account from your dashboard, or contact us using the details below.
